Hey Everyone,
Hope you all had a great week. This last week was transfers and I'm now in Denham Springs. It's a really nice area. There's really no ghetto, which is pretty sweet. The first couple of days were interesting because both my companion and I weren't able to drive and it's a car area. So we got to bike the first couple of days and our apartment is about 2 miles out of our area, because we live with the South Denham Springs Elders. Luckily I called the office elders to see if I was still not able to drive and they told me Iwas good to go. So now I'm driving again, which is pretty sweet, and being really careful while I drive. My new companion is Elder Maher. He is from West Virginia and he's 25 years old. He's pretty cool and I think we'll get along pretty good. The work here is a little slow right now, but we should start getting pretty busy hopefully because I can tell there is a lot of potential in this area, especially because there are two wards here in Denham Springs. Right now we're teaching a less active family, the Lewises. There twin 9 year old daughters are not baptized, and so we're teaching them and they have a baptismal date for the third Saturday in January. So we're pretty excited about them and they came to Stake Conference yesterday which was really good. I can't wait to start working more in the area and finding many people to teach.
