Hey everyone,
Hope you all had a great week. This last week was pretty good. We had a lot of meetings though, but they were good. We had a specialized training with President Wall in Baton Rouge. It was really good. We talked about how in teaching we need to be focusing on the Doctrine of Christ in every lesson. Even if we are teaching the Word of Wisdom, the investigator's faith should increase, they should want to repent, to make an ordinance, and the spirit needs to be present at every lesson. It's really good, because it's focusing on the investigator truly coming closer to Christ and truly being converted, so that they will be a strong member of the church. So for the meeting we went Thursday and Friday to Baton Rouge. Unfortunately on Friday Elder Taylor got sick. Only 20 minutes into the meeting he had to get up and he went and threw up. So we had to leave and drive all the way back to Opelousas. He was pretty sick, and we stayed in the apartment all of Friday and Saturday. Other then that it was a slower week. But, this week should be a lot better and we should be able to see more of our investigators. Well I hope you all have a great week.
