Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a great week.  This last week was pretty slow, but some exciting stuff happened too.  Adrian called us on Thursday and told us that he had been thinking about it and decided that he wanted to be baptized on May 7th!  It was awesome!  We had been working with him on trying to get him too move his baptismal date up for the last couple of weeks.  He was originally planning on waiting for his wife and daughters to finish up school in Virginia and come down so they could be there for his baptism.  So he had been planning on waiting until about August or September to be baptized.  We had about 3 lessons in the last two weeks about the gift of the Holy Ghost and how much it would bless him and his family's life.  We also told him of the possibility of being able to baptise his wife and kids if he was baptized sooner.  I guess either him praying or something else someone said made him feel prompted that he needed to get baptized now.  It was awesome to see the power of prayer and how the Holy Ghost works on people.  So Adrian and Sky are set up to both be baptized on May 7th!
This last week the ward had a day of service on Saturday.  For some reason us missionaries weren't allowed to go to it.  But, we went to the crawfish boil the ward had afterward.  It was so good!  It was great too because Mike, Sky, and Adrian all went to the day of service and were able to feel more a part of the ward.  Not too much else happened this last week.  Hope you all have a great week.

Love,
Elder Cooper
