Hey Everyone,
I hope you all had a great week. It was pretty much the same here
in Slaughter. Elder Peterson is having stomach problems and so we've
had to stay in a lot in the apartment. It's annoying too because
Sister Wall won't listen to him and keeps telling him he just has
constipation, which he definitely doesn't because he keeps getting
worse. He thinks it's an ulcer, and some people think it might me a
hernia too. Anyways pretty much whenever he eats anything he gets
horrible pain in his stomach and has to lay down. I feel pretty bad
for him. We have gotten to know each other really well though the
last couple of weeks and we're pretty good friends now. Hopefully
this week will be able to see some more people and find new people too
to teach.
I've been doing a lot of studying this last week too. It's helped
me a lot and helped me to strengthen my faith even more in Christ. I
love the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. It teaches the
doctrines so simply and there is true converting power in it. I know
for a surety that it is the word of God as well as the Bible and other
standard works. I know that this is Christ's church once again
established on the earth and that it contains the fulness of his
Gospel. It is such a privilege to be serving here and I truly love
it. I hope you all have an awesome week!
