Hey everyone,
I hope you all had a great week. We had a pretty rough one here. We had about 10 set appointments and they all fell through. Also, the weather was ridiculous. It was in the mid to high 80's in the beginning of the week and then dropped down to low 50's the last part of the week. Anyways, I still love it out here, even though it's been pretty slow so far. On Sunday though we did have an awesome lesson with a potential investigator named Connie. She's in her 50's I think but is a very religious person and very spiritual. She was very interested in reading the Book of Mormon and about praying to find out if it was true. She knows that if God tells her that this is Christ's church once again restored in it's fullness that it is something that she needs to have in her life and be a part of. The spirit was really strong and definitely was the teacher in that lesson. It is awesome when you teach with the spirit because you will say stuff that you don't know why you said that but it was exactly what that person needed to hear. We are really excited about her and we are praying for her that she will recognize her answer. That's one thing that I've learned in the last few months is relying more on the spirit and how important it is for the spirit to be the teacher instead of me. I love this Gospel and I know that it is true. I hope you all have a great week.
