Hey Everyone,

Today is the last day of the transfer.  We're having our p-day today because yesterday we got our call from the mission president telling us if we were staying or if we were going to a different area and who our new companion would be.  So I'm staying here in Gentilly and my new companion's name is Elder Lamb.  Elder Hale my companion is going to be a zone leader in Kenner which is another area of New Orleans.  So tomorrow we'll be changing our companions and starting our new transfer.  This last week was pretty good.  We were able to see a lot of our progressing investigators.  We got the car back too, this last week since it was the new month and we got new miles.  We had a meeting with president Woods that was really good.  Also, we found some new investigators this week that we are pretty excited about.

Sacrament Meeting was really good this week.  It was fast and testimony meeting, as you know, and there were a lot of visitors there this week.  There're actually quite a few visitors every week.  So the testimony meeting this week was really good and really spiritual.  Most of the people in the ward here are converts and they have such strong testimonies about the gospel and the Book of Mormon and how it's changed their lives.  It was too bad, though, because we didn't have any investigators there at church.  Raymond and Tracy Coats had a baby christening they went to for their god child.  It was too bad that they missed such a good meeting but it was all right. They said they'll definintly be there next Sunday.

Not too many other exciting things this week.  Just keeping hard at work and trying to find those that the Lord has prepared.  I love it here and I love the people.  Hope everything is going well back home and everyone is doing alright.  I love you all.

Love,

Elder Cooper
