Hey Everyone,
I had an awesome week in Opelousas! Elder Fife is pretty cool. He has a speech problem so it's hard for people to understand him sometimes. But, we teach really well together and he's a really good missionary. We were able to commit 4 new people for baptism this week. Two of them are related to a really cool recent convert here, Herman Johnson,. It's his brother and sister that we're teaching and we're also teaching his wife Miranda too. They're all awesome and all have real desires to find out the truth for themselves. We're really excited about them and a lot of other people that we are teaching.
It's still been ridiculously hot. This week on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the heat index was at about 116 to 117. The humidity is just killer here. It's hard to want to do missionary work when you feel like crap all the time because it's ridiculously hot outside. Oh well. Oh yeah Saturday night our ac went out! It was miserable yesterday, luckily they came and fixed it, though, this morning. Well not too much else happened and I have to go know. Hope you all have a great week.
