Hey everyone,
I had one of the worst but also good weeks of my mission. We had the baptism for Calvin on Saturday. It went really well, even though I had forgotten about having someone make a program. So we made one last minute and it didn't turn out too great. Oh well, the baptism was great, there was a strong spirit there. It was funny too, because Calvin is a pretty big guy and so is President Schlosser, who baptized him. So Elder Taylor and I filled up the font pretty high to make sure that they could get him under the water. Well when he dunked him it overflowed and water went all over the floor behind them and into the bathroom.
The rest of the week didn't go that well at all. We were only able to meet with one of our investigators, Nick, for the whole week. So the rest of the week we knocked and went around to try and see people, but we weren't able to teach any of them. It was a little discouraging, but this next week should be a lot better.
Football season has once started again, which you all know. But, it stinks for missionary work because everyone here is a huge Saints and LSU fan. Whenever one of their games are on, good luck trying to teach anyone. It's ridicuolus how much they're into football here. Well not too much else happened this last week. I hope you all have a great week.
Love,
Elder Cooper
