Hey Everyone,
I hope you all had a great week. It was pretty much the same thing here. We weren't able to see any of the people we wanted to and appointments fell through again. It was still a pretty good week though. On Friday we had specialized training with President Wall. We learned how to better find people to teach through working through the members. It was really good and I learned a lot. Then on Saturday the ward had a day of service activity. We went down to the lower 9th ward and cleaned up two houses yards. The first house the grass was seriously 6 ft. tall, and the yard was about half an acre. It was really good though to go and do service and I love to do yard work now. It changes things up from what we do every day. Then after the service the ward had a fish fry at a park not to far from where we did the service. The catfish was really good, and there were quite a few non members there. Unfortunately the less active member that told us he was going to come didn't show up. His name is Roland Alexcee. He's an awesome guy and just hasn't been to church really since his baptism, which was about a year and a half ago. So were going to keep working with him though and he's told us that he is going to come to church soon. We just need him now to commit to a specific Sunday. Other then that not too much happened. Will keep working hard though and the blessings will come. I hope you all have a great week.
