Great Week, Feb. 28, 2011

Hey Everyone,

I don't have too much time this week, either, to write.  I'll have to plan out better to have more time to e-mail.  It was pretty warm this last week.  It was in high 70's to low 80's until today it's cooled down.  I hope it stays cold as long as possible because I'm not looking forward to the summer here.  This last week was really good.  We had 7 investigators at church yesterday!  Church is 10 times better when you have investigators there, but you're also more scared about what people will say and teach.  It was a really good sacrament meeting though and all of our investigators said they loved it.  The work here in Mandeville is going great!  One of the only problems is that I think the bishop doesn't really like me anymore.  On Wednesday we went to mutual because we had an investigator Lamar, who's 13, there.  For the last 20 minutes they went and played basketball.  I wasn't going to play but, all the kids and leaders kept telling us to come play.  So we did, and the bishop was playing, too.  He was on the other team and had a break away layup.  I ran down and totally stuffed him and everyone was going crazy.  It was bad, I should have just let him make the layup.  Anyways so after the game we were shaking each others hands and saying good game.  I came up to bishop and put out my hand and he just raised his eyebrows at me and walked off!  I was so scared that I had made the bishop hate us.  Luckily on Sunday he was fine and was talking to us and shook our hands.  So that was a big relief.  Anyways it was a great week.  I hope you all have a great week.

Love,
Elder Cooper
